This clip is the rear channels, mic'd at close range near the edge of the waterwheel, the sluicing sound of water falling out of the wheel is clearly discernible. Recording conducted with a zoom h2, mics set to 120° dispersion.

Crude arpeggio and single note taps of the inner strings of an early-20th-century chas m. Stieff upright piano. This particular model was made in baltimore and spent most of its life in the lobby of the willard intercontinental hotel in d. C. , and the last 30 years in our home in fairfax, virginia. We are dismantling part of the piano to repair, clean, and, unfortunately, sell it. The mechanism for one note is the only problem, and, of course, it needs tuning. Anyone willing to give this a good home?.

The mic was placed directly inside the computer's chassis with the side door closed. No noise-removal has been applied on this recording. Most of the sound in this recording comes from the maxtor hard drive, as well as the 3. 5 floppy drive, cpu fan, and psu fan. Also includes a post beep.

Recorded during riding by attaching a zoom h4n at my left leg. The xy-microphone pointed vertically direction to the seat/engine, so no spectacular stereo-sound, but different sound timbre on l/r. The exhaust had a rusted hole so it's not the original vespa-sound but more rough. Different styles of driving. Including starter and switching off. No sound editing was made, so maybe you like to filter away low frequencies (some little wind was behind the shield).

This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. Two akg c 414 b-uls multi-pattern large diaphragm condenser mics were placed about 10 feet (about 3 meters) above the ensemble on the far right and far left, with a røde nt4 stereo condenser mic at the same height located in the middle of the group. While i was in math class taking a test i just decided to record. Near 4:38 you can hear a bell ringing, just a heads up for anyone who doesn't want a interrupting bell. It's can be rather useful for a animations where the character is surrounded by classmates taking a test or whatever. You can use it for anything it doesn't matter to me.
